Rebecca is from South Sudan and live with her 2 siblings. She is separated from her mother and her father died in the war is South Sudan. When Rebecca was 12 years old, her late father's brothers tried to marry her off to an older man as a child bride by selling her to him. Rebecca's mother escaped the village and brought her to Uganda, a safe place where she can grow as a child and receive an education. Rebecca wants to be a lawyer when she finishes school so that she can fight for others and be an advocate for people who have been treated unjustly. Her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite school subject is social studies. She enjoys playing netball (basketball).
